Cycling is often a solitary activity where we brave all types of terrain, threats and weather conditions; but what makes the community unique is that you are rarely ever truly alone. At first, it is as subtle as a nod of the head from a passing cyclist. It becomes clearer when you experience your first flat and a passing cyclist slows to ensure you can handle the repair.
